Our captain, Jonathan Mercer, wrote a book entitled “Captain, Who’s Driving?” that I had purchased the first week. Today he had a book signing. As I had come direct from the gym, I chose NOT to have my picture taken with him. He is genuinely a nice guy with a great sense of humor.
There was a passenger talent show, that was a hoot! It was also “Indonesia Day, so we had our picture taken by this statue. It was another breathtakingly beautiful day on the southern Pacific Ocean.
We played BINGO in the afternoon, and not to brag….BUT…I won the big Jackpot cover all game. I have only been skunked ONCE, so knock on wood! They shudder when I enter the BINGO hall! From there we played ring toss, and I won again!! Possibly being Child #6 of 7 I have a competitive edge??
We got dressed up and went to the Pinnacle, a private dining room. The chocolate volcano was to die for, and what a co-incidence when it came with butterfly cookies, after our Valentine’s Day butterflies!
