Friday April 6, 2012–Day 91–Sharm el-Sheikh Egypt

Sharm el-Sheikh is located on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula on the coastal strip between the Red Sea and Mount Sinai. About three hours from here is where Moses wrote the Sermon on the Mount. Sharm, as it is known here, offers a world of luxury and elegance.

We hailed a taxi with our friends Lawrence and Trisha and headed to Na’Ama Bay. Na’Ama Bay is about 10 miles from port.  Most of the city shops were closed until 1:00 so we went to the beach, but found some fun vendors along the way.

Once at the beach,  we went on a glass bottom boat. The water was beautiful! It was crystal clear and the perfect temperature.

Back to the boat at 12:30 and headed for the Suez Canal. We love Na’Ama Bay and would like to come back someday.
