Tuesday, March 13, 2012–Day 67 At Sea

The South China Sea has been extremely rough sailing.  Last night I had a bad case of vertigo. So the cabin was bouncing up and down from the seas and spinning round and round from the vertigo. Very long night and still feel out of sorts today.

We went to a camera seminar today and the movie, “Kundun” about the Dalai Lama from childhood through the Chinese Occupation. If my memory serves me right, Don got to meet the Dalai Lama.

Tomorrow we port in Vietnam. At dinner tonight we were told the Vietnamese don’t care for Americans, imagine that.  We’re with a tour group and will lay low.  We joked about saying we are from Canada instead! Then we returned to our rooms and found

our Vietnamese Landing Cards, which clearly state we are Americans and must carry them at all times.
